Every cruise on Solo Cruise is priced for one person and ranked against a fair baseline. Here is exactly what goes into each Solo Value score.
We take the total cost for one person in a single-occupancy cabin — the fare, supplements, port fees and gratuities combined.
We compare against the per-person price of the same sailing in a shared twin cabin, giving us a fair baseline for what the cruise is worth per traveller.
The difference between the solo price and the twin-share benchmark is the solo premium — the real extra cost of travelling alone on that sailing.
Each cruise is scored on our Solo Value scale based on the premium, cabin quality, itinerary and inclusions. The score is calculated by our evaluation engine, not in the frontend.
We flag sailings where the cruise line offers purpose-built solo studios or single cabins — often the best value for solo travellers.
Prices are checked regularly from live cruise line and aggregator sources. Each deal card shows the last price-check date so you know how current the figure is.
Every Thursday: the week's best-value solo sailings — zero-supplement deals, reduced-premium cabins and solo studios — before they sell out.
